Ingredients:
- ⅓ cup of Tarboush Zaatar and ¼ cup of olive oil for dough mixture
- 1 tbsp of instant yeast
- 1 cup of warm water
- 1 tsp of granulated sugar
- 3 cups of all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp of salt
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, activate the yeast with warm water and allow it to rest for 10 min
- Add salt, sugar, and olive oil and yeast mix and combine with a wooden spoon
- Wait a few minutes then add the flour gradually and mix with a wooden spoon until dough is shaggy
- Transfer the dough on a floured surface and knead the dough for 10 min
- Place the kneaded dough back in a bowl and cover with a towel and let it rise for 1 hour
- Preheat oven to 450℉
- Divide the dough into 8 equal parts and spread them to ¼ in thick
- Cover and let them rise for 10 min
- Place the dough into a sheet pan with a baking sheet
- Scoop za’atar and olive oil mixture and spread on the dough with mozzarella cheese
- Bake for 10-12 min or until the dough is golden. Enjoy!
